Lunchtime Supervisor – Support Students at SEND School

About the role
We are partnering with a specialist SEND school in Lewisham to recruit a Lunchtime Supervisor starting September 2026. The role involves supporting pupils aged 4‑16 during the midday break, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise students from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm each school day.
- Assist with feeding and basic personal care as required.
- Organise and lead guided games and activities on the playground.
- Maintain a calm and supportive atmosphere for children with ASD and PMLD needs.
- Provide occasional additional support as a Teaching Assistant when needed.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic and caring attitude towards children.
- Ability to work 5 days a week, with flexibility for fewer days if preferred.
- No prior SEND experience required.
Required skills
What we offer
- Part‑time, temporary contract (approximately 2 hours per day).
- Hourly rate between £15 and £20.
