M&A Accountant

About the role

This position offers an ambitious ACA/ACCA‑qualified accountant the chance to work within a high‑growth, private‑equity‑backed business. You will apply strong technical accounting knowledge while gaining exposure to a wide range of corporate finance and transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide critical support across merger and acquisition activities.
• Assist with financial and commercial due‑diligence processes.
• Support implementation, management and data cleansing of finance systems.
• Contribute to M&A disposal and reinvestment projects.
• Support the Head of Finance with post‑acquisition integrations.
• Business‑partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, IT, HR and other functions.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification, ideally making the first move from practice.
• Strong technical accounting skills within a group environment.
• Confident communicator and effective business partner.
• Ambitious individual with solid analytical and data‑management abilities.
