M&A Senior Analyst / Junior Associate – LevelUp

About the role

We are partnering with a leading investment banking platform to hire an ambitious M&A Senior Analyst/Junior Associate. You will support high‑profile transactions across multiple industries, working closely with senior bankers and corporate clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic finance assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end execution of M&A deals, including transaction management, due diligence and coordination.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, perform valuations using various methodologies, and analyse strategic scenarios.
• Conduct in‑depth industry, market and company research to identify acquisition targets and strategic opportunities.
• Engage directly with clients to understand objectives, support negotiations and coordinate with lawyers, accountants and consultants.
• Manage data rooms, handle information requests and assist in preparing offering memorandums and presentation materials.
• Prepare and deliver high‑quality presentations highlighting transaction opportunities and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards throughout the deal lifecycle.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, M&A, corporate finance or transaction advisory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Solid understanding of corporate finance and M&A transaction processes.
