About the role

We are seeking a senior Corporate Tax professional with deep M&A expertise to join a progressive mid‑tier accountancy firm as an M&A Tax Partner. The role offers a clear pathway from a fixed profit‑share arrangement to full equity ownership, allowing you to shape the practice’s future while working on complex, high‑value transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of M&A tax work, including structuring, due diligence, reorganisations and cross‑border considerations.
• Provide high‑level tax advice to partners, directors and clients throughout transaction processes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring compliance and technical excellence.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the Corporate Tax team, fostering technical capability.
• Participate in strategic partnership decisions and contribute to the growth of the service line.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a senior Corporate Tax professional, preferably at Director or Partner level, with a strong focus on M&A.
• ACA or CTA (or equivalent) qualification.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong internal and client relationships.
• Willingness to contribute to the firm’s strategic direction without a heavy business‑development focus.
