About the role

Join the Machine Learning Center of Excellence (MLCOE) at JPMorgan Chase as an NLP‑focused intern. You will work on cutting‑edge AI projects, applying advanced machine learning techniques to real‑world business challenges while collaborating with senior mentors and technologists.

Key responsibilities

• Research and explore new machine learning methods through independent study, attending conferences, experimentation and knowledge sharing.
• Develop state‑of‑the‑art models for real‑world problems, focusing on NLP, large language models, speech recognition, reinforcement learning and recommendation systems.
• Collaborate with MLCOE mentors, business experts and technologists to prototype, test and deploy solutions into production.
• Contribute to project work aligned with academic interests and present findings to senior leaders.

Required profile

• Strong passion for machine learning and AI.
• Solid understanding of deep learning concepts and hands‑on implementation experience.
• Ability to conduct independent research and communicate results effectively.
• Enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering).
