Machine Learning Researcher (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking a Machine Learning Researcher to join our Machine Learning team in London. The role sits at the intersection of cutting‑edge research and mission‑critical deployment, focusing on computer vision, deep learning, metric learning, 3D geometry, and vision‑language modelling.

Key responsibilities

• Own research directions end‑to‑end, from problem formulation to production‑grade systems.
• Develop novel algorithms in computer vision, deep learning, metric learning, 3D geometry and vision‑language modelling.
• Publish research at top venues and deploy solutions at scale.
• Mentor junior researchers and interns and shape the research roadmap.

Required profile

• PhD (or Master’s with equivalent research experience) in Computer Vision, Machine Learning or related field, with strong academic track record.
• Experience publishing in leading journals or conferences is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in metric learning, multi‑view geometry, depth estimation, 3D scene understanding, rendering, feature‑based tracking, self‑supervised learning or learning‑based mapping and localisation.
• Strong Python and PyTorch programming skills, ability to write testable, production‑quality code and participate in code reviews.
• Ability to work autonomously, formulate research problems and communicate findings clearly.
