Machine Operator – Gateshead (Full‑time, Temp)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join an expanding manufacturing company in Gateshead. The role involves working both day and night shift rotations from Monday to Thursday, supporting production schedules in a secure, on‑site environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manually load and unload machinery.
• Transport materials between machinery and the production area.
• Complete paperwork to verify product specifications.
• Handle products manually to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Inspect items for correct weight, defects, and scratches.
• Brush and tidy work areas to maintain cleanliness.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Confidence on the job and readiness to take on additional responsibility.
• Comfortable working both day and night shifts, Monday‑Thursday.
• Available to start within five working days.
• Open to a permanent position after a successful probation period.
