Machine Operator (Industrial Environment)

About the role

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join a busy industrial site in Hyde. This temporary‑to‑permanent role offers long‑term career prospects for reliable, hardworking candidates, working across day‑to‑day production activities.

Key responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring production machinery safely and efficiently
• Setting up machinery and ensuring correct operation
• Carrying out basic quality checks on products
• Working to production targets and deadlines
• Loading raw materials into machines and handling finished goods
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health & safety procedures
• Supporting other areas of production when required

Required profile

• Previous experience in a production or industrial environment (desirable)
• Experience operating machinery (preferred, full training provided)
• Good understanding of health & safety practices
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
