Machine Operator – Industrial Production (Temp-to-Perm)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join a busy industrial site in Hyde. This temporary position offers the potential to become permanent, providing a long‑term career path for candidates who are hardworking and safety‑focused.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Set up equipment, ensure correct running conditions and make basic adjustments.
• Load raw materials, handle finished goods and maintain workflow to meet production targets.
• Carry out quality checks to verify product standards.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work environment.
• Report any faults or issues with machinery promptly.
• Support other production areas when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a machine‑operator or industrial setting is desirable but not mandatory.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.
• Willingness to perform manual handling tasks and learn new skills.
