Maintenance and Production Planner

About the role

The company, a specialist in the process sector, is seeking a Maintenance and Production Planner to develop and improve planning processes, ensuring that goods are produced on time and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans, prioritising demand and coordinating with key departments.
• Monitor stock levels, generate timely stock figures and ensure steady supply of materials.
• Communicate daily any issues affecting the production schedule and move finished product to the warehouse.
• Work with the Purchasing Officer to define purchasing requirements and support on‑time, in‑full performance.
• Determine manpower, equipment and raw‑material needs, and prepare performance reports.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to set supplier service level agreements and KPI measurements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with end‑to‑end process knowledge.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and GMP quality system requirements.
• Ability to work accurately, methodically and take initiative.

Required skills

• Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Experience using ERP systems for production planning.
