About the role

This permanent position offers a structured, days‑based schedule (Monday‑Friday, 8:00‑16:00) within a large education estate in Reading. You will remain hands‑on, delivering electrical maintenance while enjoying a supportive, low‑pressure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine electrical maintenance across academic, commercial and specialist buildings.
• Diagnose and repair faults, ensuring minimal disruption to estate operations.
• Install new power and lighting systems as required.
• Support contractors and oversee the upkeep of key electrical infrastructure.
• Maintain health and safety standards throughout all work activities.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with several years of experience.
