Maintenance Electrician – Electrical Maintenance for Elizabeth Line

About the role
OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to support the Elizabeth Line network. You will carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across stations, depots and related facilities, ensuring reliability and safety of critical systems.
Key responsibilities
- Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, lighting, distribution boards, emergency systems and controls.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with statutory requirements, safety standards and company procedures.
- Complete accurate job records and reports using digital systems.
- Support the wider Hard FM team with multi‑disciplinary maintenance when required.
- Liaise with site managers, contractors and Network Rail staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in a 1‑in‑4 on‑call rota and respond to emergency call‑outs.
- Work one night per week when required, with enhanced rates.
Required profile
- Excellent fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Desirable experience in building services, Network Rail or rail infrastructure environments.
- Experience in safety‑critical or high‑reliability settings.
- Valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification.
- Craft qualification such as City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2.
- Current wiring regulations qualification (City & Guilds 2381‑18 Level 3 Award, 18th Edition).
- Valid Grade Card/CSCS Card or equivalent.
