Maintenance Electrician – £46,000, Company Vehicle & Overtime

About the role

We are an award‑winning electrical engineering and sustainable company seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial sites in London and the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical systems in line with IET Wiring Regulations, handling both major and minor tasks.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive breakdowns.
• Ensure site safety by following health & safety protocols, conducting risk assessments and adhering to safe systems of work.
• Collaborate with clients and site staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Complete required documentation using IT and paper‑based systems.

Required profile

• ECS Gold Card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• City & Guilds 2365/2330 Level 2 & 3 (or equivalent) – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Clean DBS record.

Required skills

• Electrical maintenance in commercial environments.
• Knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition).
• Ability to perform risk assessments and follow health & safety procedures.
