Maintenance Engineer – 4‑day week, Sunbury-on-Thames

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Sunbury‑on‑Thames. The role operates on a four‑day week (Monday‑Thursday, 8 am‑6 pm) delivering reliable maintenance for injection moulding machines and supporting equipment while keeping production disruption to a minimum.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection moulding machines and ancillary plant.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Plan maintenance activities to align with production schedules and minimise downtime.
• Complete all required risk assessments, paperwork and adhere to company H&S policies.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure safe and smooth operation of equipment.

Required profile

• C&G NVQ or equivalent in engineering, electrical or mechanical disciplines.
• Proven experience working in an industrial environment, preferably with injection moulding equipment.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Residence within a 30‑minute commute of Sunbury‑on‑Thames.
• No sponsorship available for restricted visas.
