Maintenance Engineer – Automated Manufacturing Site

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a state‑of‑the‑art, fully automated manufacturing site in West Devon. This role offers the chance to develop technically and professionally within a market‑leading business that invests heavily in its people and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on automated production machinery.
• Perform reactive and breakdown maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions to ensure maximum production efficiency.

Required profile

• Electrical or mechanical bias (electrical preferred).
• Background in manufacturing, industrial environments, or Armed Forces REME.
• Comfortable working in tough industrial settings.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Hands‑on fault‑finding experience.
• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
