Maintenance Engineer – CNC & Production Equipment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a leading precision engineering company in Farnham. You will work across several local manufacturing sites, ensuring CNC machinery and production equipment run reliably and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on CNC machines and production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Support PLC fault finding and control system diagnostics.
• Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Coordinate specialist repairs with external contractors.
• Maintain accurate records in a CMMS and adhere to Health & Safety procedures.

Required profile

• Completed time‑served engineering apprenticeship.
• HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
