Maintenance Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical (Field Based)

About the role

We are seeking a versatile Maintenance Engineer with both electrical and mechanical expertise to join a blue‑chip manufacturing organisation. The role is field‑based across multiple sites in South East London, offering a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive and planned maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Carry out preventative maintenance (PPM) and ensure equipment reliability.
• Work on SCADA systems and other control equipment.
• Operate on a shift pattern covering 07:00‑19:00 and 20:00‑08:00.

Required profile

• Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or both).
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple site visits.
• Ex‑forces candidates are encouraged to apply.
