Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing)

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a manufacturing, industrial or ex‑forces background for a days‑based position in a stable, market‑leading company. You will keep production lines operational by maintaining automation machinery across a two‑shift rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain automation and manufacturing machinery, including motors, gearboxes, conveyors and baggers.
• Perform fault finding and corrective work on mechanical and electrical components.
• Work a 2‑shift pattern (Monday‑Friday, 6:30 am‑4:30 pm or 10:00 am‑7:00 pm, 42 hours per week).
• Participate in a call‑out rota (1 in 3 weeks) and available overtime.

Required profile

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing, industrial settings or ex‑forces.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule and respond to occasional call‑outs.
