Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to keep our manufacturing production lines running smoothly. The role involves mechanical and electrical maintenance of automation equipment, including motors, gearboxes, conveyors and baggers, working on a two‑shift pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on automation and manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in motors, gearboxes, conveyors and baggers.
• Work a 2‑shift schedule (Monday‑Friday, 6:30 am‑4:30 pm or 10 am‑7 pm, 42 hours/week).
• Participate in an on‑call rota (one shift every three weeks).
• Undertake overtime as required, paid at time‑and‑a‑quarter rates.

Required profile

• Background in manufacturing, industrial environments or ex‑forces.
• Proven experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Willingness to work a flexible two‑shift pattern and occasional overtime.
