Maintenance Manager

About the role

You will be the on‑site maintenance lead for a large riverside residential community of around 535 homes across five buildings, ensuring communal areas are safe, clean and well‑presented.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and record routine health & safety checks, including fire alarm, AOV, water flushing and fire door inspections.
• Carry out hands‑on maintenance such as painting, decorating, carpentry, plumbing repairs and leak isolation.
• Oversee water features, conduct hygiene testing and act on results.
• Prioritise and delegate tasks to estate operatives and cleaners, verifying completion to standard.
• Coordinate contractors, manage permits, RAMS and site standards to minimise disruption.

Required profile

• Hands‑on maintenance professional with a strong focus on quality and safety.
• Organised, proactive and able to balance planned work with reactive issues.
• Clear communicator who builds trust with residents, colleagues and contractors.
