Maintenance Surveyor – South London

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Surveyor to support our South London portfolio, covering Croydon, Merton, Sutton and surrounding areas. Reporting to the Neighbourhood Repairs Manager, you will lead inspections, produce reports and coordinate repair and construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑ and post‑inspection surveys for responsive, void and cyclical repairs.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, identify defects and assess associated risks.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance and construction work to meet cost, time and quality targets.
• Engage with customers, leaseholders and internal/external stakeholders throughout the repair process.
• Monitor work against KPIs and provide recommendations based on findings.

Required profile

• Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS or CIOB).
• Ability to travel across the South London region as required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undergo a basic criminal record check.
