Maintenance Technician

About the role

Atlas Hotels is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Holiday Inn Express London Chingford. If you have previous experience in property maintenance and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public spaces, and back‑of‑house areas.
• Complete reactive maintenance tasks logged in the management system.
• Fix issues within rooms to return them to service quickly and efficiently.
• Manage contractors on‑site when required.
• Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance and health & safety requirements.
• Liaise with the Area Maintenance Manager for larger projects and refurbishments.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated with a strong “can‑do” attitude.
• Able to work collaboratively and courteously within a hotel environment.
• Flexible and able to prioritise tasks in pressurised situations.
• Genuine interest in learning and developing skills within property and maintenance.
• Organised, methodical and logical in approach.
