Maintenance/Commissioning Engineer – Electrical Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance/Commissioning Engineer to join a specialist electrical engineering team in the South East. You will work on emergency lighting systems and a range of electrical installations, providing technical advice and ensuring projects are documented accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems across client sites.
• Install, commission and maintain specialist emergency lighting systems.
• Set up new electrical installations and provide technical guidance to clients.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and records.

Required profile

• Background in the Electrical, Lighting, Fire or Security Engineering sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and a desire to develop further through training.
• Full, valid UK driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally.
• Ideally holds an 18th Edition qualification and/or an ECS card (not essential).
