Major & Complex Loss Adjuster – London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Major & Complex Loss Adjuster to join our long‑established loss adjusting team in London. You will manage your own caseload of high‑value claims, conduct site visits, and work closely with insurers, brokers and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out site visits throughout London to assess major and complex losses.
• Investigate, manage and progress a personal caseload of high‑value claims.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insureds, insurers, brokers and other parties.
• Instruct and liaise with experts such as surveyors, forensic scientists and lawyers.
• Prepare detailed, complex reports covering all aspects of each claim.
• Develop and agree communication plans with all involved parties.
• Negotiate settlements and produce final reports with supporting documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Major & Complex Loss Field Adjuster in a loss adjusting or insurer environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation ability and experience producing detailed reports.
• Industry qualification such as ACILA or equivalent.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
