Major & Complex Loss Claims Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Major & Complex Loss Claims Technician to support our team of senior loss adjusters. You will help drive large property claims forward, maintain communication with all parties and handle settlement elements directly with clients and insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Support major loss adjusters by pushing claims forward and keeping stakeholders informed.
• Liaise with brokers, policyholders and insurers to gather reports, verify figures and challenge estimates.
• Manage elements of settlement directly with clients and insurers.
• Chase missing documentation and ensure claim files are complete and accurate.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling property claims exceeding £100k, both domestic and commercial.
• Strong judgement, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent organisational skills to keep complex claims moving without compromising standards.
• Relevant certifications such as CII or CILA are desirable, with support for candidates working towards them.
