About the role

As a Major & Complex Loss Desk Adjuster you will manage a portfolio of high‑net‑worth, technically demanding property claims from instruction to settlement. Working remotely, you will collaborate with clients, brokers, policyholders and internal teams to deliver exceptional outcomes while maintaining the highest technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major, complex and high‑net‑worth property claims from instruction through to settlement.
• Deliver service levels that meet demanding client expectations and technical standards.
• Proactively progress claims while controlling costs, timescales and customer outcomes.
• Produce clear, accurate and high‑quality reports and recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships with insurers, brokers, policyholders and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and client‑specific requirements.
• Achieve key performance and quality targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Required profile

• Experience within a loss adjusting practice or insurer environment.
• Significant exposure to major loss and complex property claims.
• Strong technical property claims knowledge with a proven track record of successful claim resolution.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and comfortable working autonomously.
• Adaptable and flexible in a changing claims environment.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
