Major & Complex Loss Liability Adjuster

About the role

The role involves managing a portfolio of major and complex liability claims across employer, public and product lines, without financial restriction. You will act as the nominated Liability Adjuster for key accounts throughout Greater London and the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, investigate and settle high‑value liability claims, including personal injury and third‑party property damage.
• Maintain relationships with key clients and act as their primary point of contact for complex cases.
• Prepare detailed reports, loss valuations and settlement recommendations.
• Coordinate with legal, medical and technical experts to ensure accurate claim handling.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines throughout the claims process.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in handling major and complex liability claims within the insurance sector.
• Professional qualifications such as ACII or ACILA are desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical abilities and a thorough understanding of liability law.
