Major Projects Electrical Lead – Building Services

About the role

We are seeking a Major Projects Electrical Lead to join our Building Services Design team in Salford. You will be the technical focal point for electrical design on large, complex construction projects, ensuring sustainable, compliant and cost‑effective solutions from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical design activities for major new‑build projects.
• Manage the Electrical team, balancing utilisation and resource levels.
• Collaborate with the Major Projects Mechanical Lead to deliver integrated building services solutions.
• Set and monitor quality standards for design deliverables.
• Act as the primary client liaison for electrical engineering matters.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the electrical design process.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading electrical design on large construction projects.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder relationships.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, compliant designs.
