Mammographer – Breast Screening (12‑month contract)

About the role
Day Webster is recruiting two experienced Mammographers to join a busy Breast Screening Unit in Lancaster, North West England. The position is a 12‑month contract, full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm, offering a competitive hourly rate.
Key responsibilities
- Perform mammography examinations for approximately 50 patients per day.
- Work independently in a sole‑working environment, ensuring high‑quality image acquisition.
- Transfer images using the Paperlite system to the radiology department.
- Maintain compliance with breast screening protocols and documentation standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience in breast screening mammography.
- Ability to work confidently on your own without direct supervision.
- Reliable car access and confident driving for occasional van‑based locations.
Required skills
- Paperlite image‑transfer software.
