Managed Care Consultant – Home-based (Kent/Sussex)

About the role

We are looking for a Managed Care Consultant to oversee client services and care delivery across Kent, Sussex and parts of Surrey. This home‑based position offers flexibility while requiring regular regional travel and occasional visits to our Kent head office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review client care packages to ensure high standards and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct client reviews and maintain accurate, person‑centred care plans.
• Support new client assessments and service start‑ups.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients and families, delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Manage, support and performance‑review care staff within the region.
• Assist with recruitment, training compliance and staff retention.
• Investigate and resolve client or staff concerns professionally.

Required profile

• Experience in a client‑focused role within a regulated environment (healthcare, social services, police, housing, etc.).
• Strong understanding of compliance, quality standards and governance.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary from £32,000 to £35,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• Company car after 6 months (initial mileage expensed).
• 4 weeks holiday, rising to 5 weeks after 2 years.
