Management Accountant – 12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are partnering with a London‑based investment firm, part of a global group, to hire an experienced Management Accountant on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave. The role provides exposure to group reporting and senior stakeholder engagement within the environmental and infrastructure investment sector.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Execute journal postings, balance‑sheet reconciliations and cash management.
• Compile group consolidation packs.
• Support statutory accounts and tax processes.
• Liaise with auditors and external advisors.
• Manage invoicing and payment processes.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong end‑to‑end experience preparing management accounts.
• Essential IFRS experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage or Xero.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Available immediately or within 1‑2 weeks.
