Management Accountant – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a dynamic organisation in Bicester on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role involves preparing management accounts, analysing financial performance and supporting tax and audit activities. The position offers a hybrid working model, combining office presence with remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and lead month‑end/year‑end close.
• Analyse profit & loss and balance‑sheet accounts, investigating variances.
• Prepare journals, accruals, pre‑payments and provisions.
• Monitor project performance, revenue, margins and work‑in‑progress.
• Analyse labour utilisation, overheads and operational costs.
• Support tax compliance, audits and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and standards.

Required profile

• Strong, hands‑on SAP experience.
• Proven management accounting and month‑end closing experience.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to work well under pressure.
• Team player with a customer‑focused approach.
