About the role
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our well‑established finance team in Newcastle on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract. This role offers an experienced accountant the chance to work on a varied and technically rewarding portfolio, supporting both management and statutory reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support statutory reporting and manage balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Collaborate closely with auditors and key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous process improvements within the finance function.
Required profile
- ACCA or CIMA qualified, or part‑qualified with relevant experience.
- Strong management accounting experience.
- Proactive approach with focus on accuracy and improvement.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel.
