Management Accountant – Care Home Group

About the role

The Group Management Accountant will join a fast‑moving, pan‑European real estate and hospitality investment group, supporting its growing care‑home business. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for delivering accurate management reporting, strengthening financial controls and providing commercial insight across a portfolio of care homes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts for the care‑home portfolio.
• Produce financial reports and variance analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning activities.
• Oversee resident fee billing, revenue streams and cash collection processes.
• Manage inter‑company transactions, balance‑sheet reconciliations and audit support.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Guide and develop the Purchase Ledger Clerk, ensuring robust controls.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong management‑accounting experience in a multi‑site, group or commercially driven environment.
• Experience within the care‑home, real‑estate or hospitality sectors is advantageous.
• Ability to work closely with senior finance leaders and operational teams.
