Management Accountant – Client Services

About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a growing client base in Manchester. You will be responsible for delivering tailored management accounts and financial insights across a variety of sectors. The role offers a mix of client‑facing work and collaboration with internal bookkeeping teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and produce customised management reports.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet items accurately and efficiently.
• Analyse gross profitability across projects, products and revenue streams.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Assist clients with forecasting, budgeting and cash‑flow reporting.
• Support the bookkeeping team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Build strong client relationships through regular communication and on‑site meetings.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant role.
• Relevant accounting qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
• Friendly, approachable, trustworthy with a proactive attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
