Management Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

KCR Solutions is seeking a driven Management Accountant to join its finance team in Gateshead. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will gain broad exposure across the finance function and play a key part in supporting business performance. This is a fully office‑based, full‑time position offering the chance to develop your accounting expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Support management accounts analysis, KPI reporting and other management information.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet and control accounts daily, weekly and monthly.
• Prepare journals and produce accounts up to trial balance.
• Complete quarterly composite submissions to external stakeholders.
• Assist with cash‑flow monitoring and forecasting activities.
• Identify and implement improvements to finance processes, systems and controls.
• Maintain financial controls and adhere to company policies.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the wider finance team and deputise for the Financial Controller when required.

Required profile

• AAT or part‑qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
• Previous finance experience with similar duties, preferably within the motor industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
