Management Accountant – Group Finance (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join a fast‑growing, technology‑focused business within its Group Finance function. This hybrid role will be based in Cheltenham and will involve hands‑on responsibility for month‑end reporting, statutory compliance and group consolidation across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate month‑end close for the group and subsidiaries
• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Perform detailed variance analysis with clear commentary
• Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations to audit‑ready standards
• Support preparation of monthly group consolidated accounts
• Assist with intercompany reconciliations, eliminations and group adjustments
• Prepare and submit VAT returns across the group
• Support finance integration activities related to M&A and hive‑up processes
• Build strong relationships with operational, commercial and technology teams

Required profile

• Newly qualified or part‑qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
• 2–5 years of experience in a finance role
• Solid experience in month‑end reporting, tax returns and audit support
• Background in a high‑growth, technology‑focused or multi‑entity environment
• Exposure to group consolidations, mergers or hive‑up processes
• Advanced Excel skills; NetSuite ERP experience is a strong advantage
• Sharp attention to detail, strong analytical capability and proactive mindset
• Confident communicator able to engage stakeholders at all levels
