Management Accountant – International Logistics Firm

About the role
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join an international logistics firm based in North London. The role supports the Finance Director and will be responsible for producing accurate management accounts and ensuring compliance with payroll and tax obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and pre‑payments.
- Process payroll and review profit and loss statements.
- Handle VAT returns and maintain the fixed asset register.
- Manage inter‑company accounts and produce regular financial reports.
- Support the Finance Director with ad‑hoc analysis and budgeting.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant (e.g., AAT, CIMA, ACCA) – ideally with P/Q qualification.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Experience in a logistics or similar fast‑moving environment is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
