Management Accountant

About the role

OEG is seeking a Management Accountant to support its Topside Division, ensuring accurate financial reporting for OEG Renewables (Topside). The role will combine project finance partnering with core management accounting duties in a fast‑paced offshore energy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review project financial performance, monitoring revenue, costs and profit margins.
• Develop relationships across the business to promote financial awareness and accountability.
• Support budgeting and forecasting for allocated service lines.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
• Post monthly accruals and pre‑payments, ensuring correct period recognition.
• Complete balance‑sheet and weekly bank reconciliations; assist with cash‑flow forecasting.
• Support accounting for the Taiwan branch in line with local requirements.
• Manage working capital by reviewing aged debtors and collaborating with AR and operations teams.
• Monitor project billing to optimise cash conversion.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial systems, reporting and processes.

Required profile

• Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or part‑qualified accountant.
• Experience working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
