Management Accountant

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing manufacturing business to hire a Management Accountant for its evolving finance team in Rawtenstall. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be involved in a broad range of finance activities, from month‑end reporting to supporting international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and month‑end reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Analyse overheads, costs and overall business performance.
• Assist with reporting for international operations.
• Contribute to systems and automation projects, including Power BI development.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to identify and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• ACCA or CIMA student/finalist with ambition to qualify.
• Proactive finance professional who enjoys adding value beyond the numbers.
• Manufacturing experience is essential.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a fast‑changing environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Power BI reporting and data analysis.
