Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a part‑qualified Management Accountant to join a fast‑paced finance function in Leeds. This role offers the chance to develop your accounting expertise while supporting a well‑regarded business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and related analysis.
• Update forecasts using stakeholder information and business insight.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
• Track variances against forecasts and present findings clearly.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Identify process inefficiencies and help implement best‑in‑class improvements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified ACCA or CIMA (currently studying).
• Previous experience in management accounting.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with finance and wider business teams.
• Willingness to develop further within a hybrid working environment.
