Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join our leadership team in Salisbury. The successful candidate will own the company’s financial management, reporting and control environment, driving efficiency, cost control and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and produce accurate monthly and year‑end financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, VAT, PAYE and oversee the annual statutory audit.
• Provide strategic financial insight, modelling, pricing and margin analysis to support business planning.
• Manage working capital, banking relationships and funding to optimise liquidity.
• Strengthen financial controls, enhance ERP systems and implement process improvements.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team while coordinating payroll and system upgrades.
• Support cross‑functional teams with financial guidance and training.

Required profile

• CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified (newly qualified considered).
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of UK GAAP and Corporation Tax.
• Ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment and influence senior leadership.
