Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a permanent Management Accountant to join a well‑established business in Birmingham. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial insight for a prestigious client base and support the company’s continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain management accounts and monthly financial reports.
• Develop forecasting models and support the budgeting process.
• Conduct data analysis, KPI reporting and performance analysis.
• Assist with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities.
• Provide payroll processing support for a small‑scale payroll.
• Collaborate with senior finance leaders to translate numbers into actionable business insights.

Required profile

• Experience as an Assistant Management Accountant or similar role.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate financial information.
• Motivation to progress to a senior accounting position.
