Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a busy and growing construction company in North Bristol. The successful candidate will provide accurate monthly management accounts, support budgeting and forecasting, and deliver financial insights that help senior management make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Analyse financial performance and identify trends.
• Produce cash‑flow forecasts and monitor cash positions.
• Monitor costs, margins and profitability.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Provide senior management with financial insights for decision‑making.
• Review financial controls and processes.
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors and other stakeholders as required.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the finance function.

Required profile

• Fully qualified (ACA or ACCA).
• Management accounting experience with strong analytical abilities.
• Proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Construction industry experience is desirable.
