Management Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Management Accountant to join Global Ridgeway Holdings Ltd in Ampthill on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract (potential extension). Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will cover maternity leave and support a finance transformation across a multi‑currency, multi‑entity business.

Key responsibilities

• Complete daily finance processing, reviewing and entering data into relevant systems.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash‑management activities, including credit control.
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts for multiple companies, including journals, accruals, pre‑payments and reconciliations.
• Analyse financial performance, investigate variances against budget and prior year, and produce cash‑flow and other management reports.
• Process inter‑company recharges and reconciliations.
• Maintain robust financial controls, assist with year‑end accounts, and respond to auditor queries.
• Support annual regulatory rating renewal and actuarial processes.

Required profile

• AAT‑qualified, part‑qualified or equivalent‑level accountant.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and guide junior team members.
• Experience in multi‑currency, multi‑entity environments is desirable.
