Management Accountant – Production Agency

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, hands‑on Management Accountant to lead the day‑to‑day finance function for a fast‑moving, project‑led production agency in London. This brand‑new role offers the chance to shape processes, strengthen controls and ensure smooth financial operations as the business continues to grow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end bookkeeping function, including sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations and expense processing.
• Coordinate weekly supplier payment runs and maintain effective cash‑flow management.
• Ensure financial records are accurate, up‑to‑date and always audit‑ready.
• Prepare month‑end reconciliations, accruals, pre‑payments and supporting schedules.
• Process payroll and ensure VAT, PAYE and pension obligations are completed accurately and on time.
• Act as the first point of contact for finance queries, building positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Support the year‑end process and liaise with external accountants.

Required profile

• Strong bookkeeping and finance operations experience.
• Experience managing cash flow and supplier payments.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
• Ideally experience within an agency, professional services or project‑based business.
• AAT, ACCA or CIMA part‑qualified (or qualified by experience).
