Management Reporting Accountant

About the role

This position sits within a high‑performing finance team of a respected, growing organisation. You will turn raw financial data into clear, actionable management information that supports operational decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and KPI reports.
• Analyse financial performance, identify trends and provide insights to operational managers.
• Partner with non‑finance stakeholders to explain results and support commercial decisions.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and challenge existing practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience producing management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• Strong analytical ability with a focus on turning data into business insight.
• Confidence communicating financial information to non‑financial audiences.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to influence reporting improvements.
• Experience in a financial services or FCA‑regulated environment is a plus, but not essential.
