Manager DSV and Parcel Carrier Relations

About the role

The Parcel Carrier Manager will lead the development and optimisation of relationships with parcel carriers and delivery partners. Working across Commercial, Operations, Finance and Technology, the role ensures market‑leading service quality, cost efficiency and commercial performance for parcel, returns, locker and final‑mile services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary commercial contact for parcel carriers, building strategic partnerships and conducting regular business reviews.
• Lead commercial negotiations, manage contracts, amendments and renewals to deliver cost‑effective solutions.
• Develop and monitor carrier KPIs such as on‑time delivery, first‑time delivery success, claims, customer satisfaction and cost per parcel.
• Produce performance reports, drive continuous improvement plans and manage escalations.
• Identify opportunities to expand parcel volumes, support new solutions like lockers, click‑and‑collect and B2B propositions.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure scalability, support partner onboarding and maintain readiness during peak periods.
• Manage carrier‑related budgets and contribute to long‑term sourcing strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in carrier management, procurement or logistics within a fast‑moving consumer environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of negotiating and managing contracts.
• Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple internal functions and external partners.

Required skills

• Experience with carrier KPI measurement and reporting.
• Knowledge of parcel logistics, returns handling and final‑mile delivery processes.
