Manager – Economic Crime Financial Intelligence Unit (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Within Santander’s Risk function, this 8‑month Fixed‑Term Contract role provides subject‑matter expertise in financial crime systems and controls. You will support the safe integration of TSB’s economic crime framework into Santander’s control environment, ensuring compliance and operational resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Assess variances between TSB’s and Santander’s economic crime systems, detailing customer and operational impacts.
• Support the integration of TSB’s screening and transaction‑monitoring systems into Santander’s control environment.
• Produce insightful analysis and management information using multiple data sources.

Required profile

• Strong working knowledge of TSB’s economic crime screening and transaction‑monitoring systems, including system set‑up, data flows and outputs.
• Solid understanding of regulations on economic sanctions and money‑laundering.
• Proven critical‑thinking, good judgement and effective relationship management with senior stakeholders.

• Salary range £68,662 – £102,994 per annum (35‑hour week).
