Manager - Restructuring Advisory

About the role

As a Manager within FRP Group’s Restructuring team, you will lead complex restructuring, turnaround and insolvency engagements for stressed and distressed businesses. You will shape strategic outcomes, manage high‑impact assignments and help grow the firm through strong client relationships and market insight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of restructuring and insolvency assignments across multiple sectors.
• Deliver strategic advice and practical solutions to under‑performing or distressed businesses.
• Oversee formal insolvency processes, including administrations, liquidations and CVAs.
• Lead corporate transactions, negotiating commercial terms and preparing sale documentation.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, cash‑flow forecasting and recovery planning.
• Develop and implement tailored strategic recovery plans.
• Advise on financial restructuring, distressed M&A and performance improvement.
• Engage with banks, private equity firms, investors, legal advisors and other stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
• Collaborate with legal, finance and operational teams for seamless project delivery.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

• Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of success in challenging environments.
• Experience leading corporate transactions and negotiating commercial terms.
• Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, lenders and stakeholders.
